Another Bloggers Genealogy Journey

I am a passionate cat lover, I love all things cat. Today I was pleasantly surprised as I was looking at a fellow cat bloggers blog to see that she had a section on her genealogy.


Since it is a pet blog, some of the writing is from the pets point of view and the blogger goes by a username of Glogirly. But the family history is real and her story is real.

She was adopted as a baby and then as an adult, found her path to the family she never knew by researching online. I am always amazed to read such wonderful stories about people connecting with family.



I contacted her on Facebook for permission to share her story here and she gladly agreed to let me share. Thank you so much Glogirly!!

    Thank you so much for sharing my story, Kat. I decided to have my cat Katie tell the story since...well, it's HER blog... and we were both adopted into our forever homes when we were just babes.

    I hope my story resonates with those in search of answers and in search of themselves. It's a journey that has changed my life forever.

    I wanted to mention ... the photo of that little girl who looks like she's carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders is my birth mother. She was only 4 when the picture was taken.

    Thank you again for letting me share your story. I can tell it was life changing by the way you told your story. I have a feeling there will be quite a few people who enjoy reading about your journey. That is an amazing photo of your mother as a little girl. You are right, she does look like she is carrying the weight of the world.
